Curious As A Cat

1) Who do you wish could find their inner spirit to become more comfortable in their life?

The people who live in the apartment below me! I swear! They call the police on each other at least once a month! LORD!

2) You have to fight a duel tomorrow at dawn. You have been allowed to choose the weapons. What do you choose?

Shades, for me. None for my opponent, who has to face the sun.

3) What’s the best thing to inherit other than money?

A thick skin.

4) Do you hope to run your own company some day?

Of course! I own 5 now! Unfortunately, none of them make enough, even put together, to get me out of working a full-time job to keep a roof over my head.

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.
What the heck is that thing!!!

Curious As A Cat

1) What one quality of your father’s would you most like to share?

I once got my dad a coi for his birthday. It was huge! He put it out in his coi pond and in no time at all, it was eating up all of the food before the others could get to it. Turns out this fish was a bit of a bully, Dad suspected him of actually eating some small fish that he had.

Anyway, one day Dad went out to the pond for the morning feeding and found the fish floating at the top of the water. He spent a good 10 minutes trying to resuscitate this bully coi until Mom made him stop.

2) Among all the people you know, who would you like to have known when s/he was a child?

Time to come clean...I'm not a big fan of kids, generally speaking (are you shocked!). I didn't much like them when I was a kid. Don't know why. Just the way it's always been for me. That doesn't mean I've never seen a child and thought "Cute kid". A kid or two has even made me laugh (I tend to like them best). So, frankly, I wouldn't want to screw-up perfectly fine friendships by imagining my friends as children.

3) If you wanted to meditate for a whole day, where would you do it?

In bed, under the blankets, with my eyes closed and unconscious. I think it's called...sleep...

4) What is your favorite thing to do in a city park?

Run free with the wind in my hair, playing frisbee and marking all the trees...Oh, wait, that's a dog...

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

When I was a kid (yes, I admit it, I was a kid) we used to go to the International Fair in Toledo every year. I never missed the food at the Greek booths, the sandalwood carvings at the Indian booths or the West African dancers. So...I answer this picture with a video...

Curious As A Cat

1) Whose thoughts would you most like to read?

Well, my own, of course. Why do you think I answer these questions?

2) How do you feel when someone smiles at you?

Very suspicious! They are clearly either crazy, done something to me that I just don't know about yet or simply don't know me at all.

3) If you were allowed to teach any course (real or made-up by you) at any university in the world, where and what would you teach?

How to make the perfect Lemon-Ade on my very own Dog and Kitty Ranch University (staff of one, so no one can tell me what to do). Tuition would consist of cleaning up the ranch. All I need to do, is figure out how to make Lemon-Ade.

4) If you could be buried or have your ashes spread anywhere at all, where would it be?

Please don't bury me...The Worms Crawl In, The Worms Crawl Out...So, I guess it's ashes for me! I think each of my friends and family should take a bit of ashes and sleep with them in a baggy under their pillows each night!

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

Yeah...I should really fix that hole in my ceiling...
